The Role:
We're seeking a full-time Account Manager to oversee ocean, air (domestic & international), import, and land shipments – including general, oversize/out-of-gauge, and project cargo. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and loves delivering exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do:
- Negotiate rates and prepare customer quotes
- Coordinate and expedite shipments from start to finish & prepare all shipment documentation, including letters of credit
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers
- Ensure smooth legalization of documents
- Deliver top-notch customer service and maintain strong client relationships
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years' operations experience with a freight forwarder
- Hands-on experience managing all facets of ocean, air, import, and land shipments
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up
- A customer-first mindset and excellent communication skills
