This position is responsible for managing multiple key growth projects for bearing repair business unit. This role will contribute to the plan and provide leadership to the cross functional team to complete and define deliverable of OEM and Customer Approvals according to project charter/repair processes and align the strategic business agreements that support this profitable sales.


  • Plan, lead and manage growth projects, according to the organic growth process model, in order to launch profitable new product services on time and within budget constraints while managing risk and meeting the project requirements.
  • Provide leadership for and facilitate the cross functional project team to complete the planned deliverables in accordance with the project charter and timeline, to ensure that the appropriate rigor and best practice is applied to the team output and to ensure activities & deliverables are aligned with the organic growth process and/or elevate exceptions for review.
  • Conduct gate review meetings and to work with the project team to identify key risks and develop mitigation plans. The Project Manager is responsible to communicate regularly to the key project stakeholders regarding the status of the project and key issues/risks and to prepare the project update for periodic project reviews.
  • Identify gaps in execution and opportunities for continuous improvement to the organic growth process, deliverables and best practice and to remain engaged within a community of practice amongst project managers across the business units and technology.
  • Participate jointly with Sales as the contact for customer during qualification. Manage customer communication to align customer expectations, requirements and contractual commitments to the business. Coordinate the proposal response including contract negotiations through qualifications as lead or support as agreed to during project scope.
  • Coordinate and leverage the sales force to identify new projects and application requirements and overall sales opportunities to support company sales and profit goals.


  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline with min. five years of related experience in Aerospace Marketing/Engineering/Business Development-Sales/or Project Management
  • Advanced written communication skills and ability to present in large or small groups
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and dispute management tactics
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals
  • Understanding of relevant business processes, esp. organic growth process model, product application, market segments
  • Ability to advocate across organizational boundaries for support
  • Skill in sales and profit budget preparation and execution
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and dispute management tactics
