Job Scope
Responsible for strategic planning, managing and leading sales operations of the Nabisco Cookies, Crackers, and Cadbury Confections portfolio, within the established business policy for Mondelēz International, to meet the customer needs for Albertsons Denver Division, and for meeting the outcome goals of both companies.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, Integrate, and deliver coordinated sales programs to the customer for assigned categories

  • Build revenue and share by applying category management principles and business analysis best practices to identify key category drivers and implementing business recommendations to drive MDLZ and customer growth

  • Plan, estimate and manage the Revenue Estimates on a Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis

  • Develop relationships with key customer decision makers to favorably influence and enhance MDLZ's competitive position

  • Interact with other key customer team leads (Customer Business Team Director, Retail Director of Retail, District Managers, and Region Management) to maximize sales growth

  • Review and understand Mondelēz planning principles and guidelines to effectively collaborate with Category Planners or Division CSP Team to design and implement customer-specific programming.

  • Conduct category analysis by utilizing current consumer and category insights and Key Performance Indicator reports. Analyze the category, the customer and the consumer information to make strategic business building decisions.

  • Provide updates to management on competitive activity, both at the Account and in the market, Customer specific strategy changes, key marketplace updates and other business related activities.

  • Manage new item sell in and distribution expectations

  • Manage Operating Costs, trade funds to develop effective and efficient merchandising; resolve deductions; Review Customer Profit & Loss report and other Key Performance Indicators to determine necessary action steps to improve category profitability; Adhere to Auditing Policy and Procedures

  • Effectively manage CPW/TPM reconciliation and overall trade management within allotted annual trade budget
  • Minimize unsalables and maximize Net Revenue vs. assigned target

    Education: Bachelors of Science degree in Business/Sales, Food Marketing, or Liberal Arts Required

    Experience and Abilities:
  • Minimum 3-5 years Customer Selling/Negotiating Experience; HQ Selling experience a plus
  • Ability to manage and work with multiple key customer and Customer Business Team stakeholders
  • Results oriented and strong strategic planning capabilities with a proven track record for delivering goals
