Customer Service & Logistics

Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you'll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working "from farm to shelf," you'll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.

Purpose of role

This is entry-level position is a good introduction to the international trade environment and business responsibilities relating to regulatory compliance involving U.S. and Canada imports and Mexico exports. In this role one will acquire an understanding of the international trade regulations that apply to our business. The Customs Coordinator is primarily responsible for invoice management and compilation of relevant data to support business needs and reporting, and maintaining import documentation files.
Main responsibilities
  • Support the Mondelēz International US & Canada import compliance program by executing activities for which you are trained.
  • Use Excel to interface multiple data sources to review invoices, maintain tracking logs, and generate reports.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and completeness and process for payment.
  • Use company systems to create and maintain Purchase Orders.
  • Maintain import documentation files through web-based download systems, reviewing to ensure documents were provided for each import.
  • Lead the team-supported effort to conduct documentation audits by maintaining the audit file, tracking statistical results, and working with Customs Brokers to retrieve missing documents and update files.
  • Support Canada entry correction process by organizing and submitting documentation as instructed by Senior Customs Analyst.
  • Maintain access to the Canadian Automated Export Declaration system to support Canada export activities under the instruction of the Senior Customs Analyst.
  • Create and maintain internal procedures to document your responsibilities and facilitate cross-training.
  • Participate in team presentations and cross-functional meetings to spread awareness of our Customs Compliance program.
  • Always consider and share opportunities to improve how we work.
  • Support other Customs activities and projects as needed.


Knowledge, skills and experience required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Customs or Trade Compliance experience a plus, though not required to succeed in this position.
