Timken Gears and Services' Philadelphia Gear brand has a current opening for an Office Administrator to support administrative duties of the New Castle, Delaware service center.
Under the direction of the General Manager of the Regional Service Center, duties include:
-Maintain the facilities accounting system- maintains log and filing of invoices for the facility.
-Receptionist- greeting and directing the infrequent walk-in visitors, and talking/directing telephone calls and voicemail based requests. Organization of meetings, interviews, lunches and site events as needed. As the initial contact point of the facility, the Office Administrator receives customer's requests for information and assistance. These requests are either handled or forwarded to the appropriate party.
-Purchasing- support Operations and Customer service by requesting Request for Quotes, then entering purchase orders for outside operations, miscellaneous components for jobs, both standard or expedited lead time. Follow up with the supplier to ensure they remain on time.
-Facility Responsibilities- The individual maintains paperwork and files for the office.
Key attributes include- The ability to multi-task, set priorities, meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and organization, set goals, ability to work as part of a team, excellent computer skills, customer service skills, as well as a basic understanding of accounting procedures and good business practices. Good Communication is essential. Must have administrative experience and a highschool diploma.
