Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you'll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working "from farm to shelf," you'll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.

The Director, US Logistics Operations Development, is responsible to lead a high performing team, responsible to develop our US Strategic Roadmap, inclusive of Continuous Improvement programs, People Capabilities & Technology.

This role is responsible for connecting with cross functional teams throughout the supply chain to ensure good E2E decisions are being made & setting up programs to control a US budget of $800MM . The Log Ops Development team is also responsible for utilizing IL6s methods to drive operational excellence across the logistics operations, eradicating losses and drive productivity initiatives. They are internally & externally focused looking for optimal supply chain solutions to deliver service and cost controls. The team collaborates & influences across all the functions within the organization to succeed.

This team is responsible for shape the strategy of logistics operations, developing partnerships internally & externally to deliver core metrics. They are the subject matter experts in the organization around US Mondelēz Distribution & Transportation processes, costs & ways of working.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates across ISC, Finance & Commercial teams to ensure distribution & transportation connectivity to ensure impacts of business decisions are fully understood
  • Develop, monitor and educate the organization on key Logistics KPI metrics that will drive the best performance in the integrated supply chain.
  • Jointly manage key Supplier Relationships with Logistics Operations & Procurement
  • Lead the NA Logistics Technology Optimization team & roadmap; including the implementation of SAP eWM & Oracle Transportation's future state
  • Builds IL6s Capabilities for the Logistics function, along with standard SOP's to eradicate Waste

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10 years of experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain
  • Ability to effectively work under pressure, managing multiple and changing priorities with strong achievement and results orientation
  • Strong influencing & communication skills: Ability to lead both informal teams & direct staff.
  • Ability to communicate analysis in a clear, succinct and persuasive manner
  • Effective People Manager with a track record of developing & building high performing teams
  • DSD & Warehouse experience - 3PLmanagement
  • Transportation & Negotiation experience
