Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you'll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working "from farm to shelf," you'll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.

Global Customer Logistics Development Manager- Walmart Global

This role will serve as the primary supply chain collaboration linkage across Mondelēz (MDLZ) teams within Walmart International market as well as between MDLZ and Walmart Corp.'s International division in Bentonville. He/she will work with the WM Int'l Business Development Team (BDT), as well as the global Community of Practice (CoP) and Center of Excellence (CoE) to co-create the Mondelēz global WM supply chain strategy. He/she is responsible developing and implementing a joint collaboration roadmap with the customer & markets, based upon the Customer Collaboration strategy design that has incorporated industry trends with MDLZ and customer priorities into its planning.

The Manager, Customer Logistics Walmart (WM) Global position will operate a "Community of Practice (CoP)" forum to capture and share latest news and best practices with markets that have Walmart presence.

Additional responsibilities include developing Customer view service reporting capabilities and collaborating on Joint Business Planning (JBP) sessions.

Position effectiveness requires that the candidate possess superior supply chain skills and capabilities, a customer focus, lean thinking principles, strong project and process management skills, superior interpersonal skills and effective relationship management at all levels with MDLZ and the assigned Customer Supply Chain.

Walmart's global markets are currently defined as the US, UK, Mexico, China, Brazil, South Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, India, and Japan.

Job responsibilities

  • Work with the CBDT, CoP and CoE to develop the Walmart-specific global supply chain strategy.

  • Lead quarterly CoP call, gathering input materials that include relevant supply chain strategy, project and KPI updates and best practice sharing.

  • Develop the capability to gather Customer view of service, inventory and on-shelf availability (OSA) reporting; ensure that insights and reports are published quarterly.

  • Collaborate with markets on Joint Business Planning (JBP) sessions, to ensure consistent approach and leverage insights from other sessions. If relevant (due to scale and importance), he/she may attend the sessions.

  • Collaborate with the Global Customer Logistic Development (within global CS&L COE) to develop & deploy global best practices.

  • Monthly KPI reporting in consistent format for relevant markets (OSA, Inventory and Case Fill rate)

  • Ad-hoc reporting requests

  • Material creation for JBP and status reporting

  • Participation on the Walmart International Supplier Collaboration Board

  • KPI improvements - OSA, inventory, DSO, forecast accuracy and CFR

  • Joint value tracking for WM across all regions, via CoP

  • Demonstrate the value delivered via the supply chain

  • Improved customer perception (via Advantage or other survey)


  • BS/BA in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field

  • 5 years of professional working experience with at least 2 years within supply chain function

  • Customer supply chain leadership experience and demonstrated ability to lead and motivate

  • Prior management experience in global customer Supply Chain

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional, cross-regional work teams

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and superior presentation skills

  • 25-40% travel is required
