We're looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team and help us grow our presence in the industry.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to build and manage client relationships, drive sales, and provide exceptional service in the logistics and transportation sector. This is a remote position based in the Northeast, offering flexibility alongside a competitive benefits package, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in LTL and parcel sales, a strong understanding of transportation management systems, and a proven track record of success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the LTL, truckload, parcel, and international logistics markets.
  • Identify sales opportunities, generate leads, and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their transportation needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.
  • Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize pricing, track performance, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present pricing proposals, including accessorial fees, to clients with accuracy and transparency.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 3 years in LTL or Parcel sales

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience in LTL or parcel transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Expertise in pricing strategies and accessorial fee structures within the logistics industry.
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and achieve sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a virtual office environment.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $250,000 per year
